The initial application was filed in 2014 for 250 dwellings and withdrawn in January 2016.
An application was again filed in January 2017 for 175 dwellings and subsequently refused in April 2017 due to highway and Green Belt issues however, the application was subject of an appeal and with the necessary revisions, eventually gained planning permission in April 2018.
